Hallo, mein Name ist Memo, ich bin 22 Jahre alt und ich biete einen K-POP Tanzkurs im Sommersemester 2026 an der CAU an! Ich selbst tanze schon seit 8 Jahren und habe schon Erfahrungen auf der Bühne mit K-POP Tanzwettbewerben, wo ich alleine oder mit meiner Tanzgruppe in der Freizeit hier und da mal auf den Siegertreppchen stand.
In diesem Kurs lernen wir gemeinsam Choreografien aus der Welt des K-POP und arbeiten an Ausdruck, Präzision und Synchronität. Mir ist wichtig, dass sich alle Teilnehmenden im eigenen Körper wohler fühlen, mehr Selbstvertrauen beim Tanzen entwickeln und lernen, sich über Bewegung auszudrücken.
Der Kurs soll nicht nur ein Ort sein, an dem man Schritte lernt, sondern auch ein Raum, in dem man sich gegenseitig unterstützt, gemeinsam wächst und Spaß am Tanzen hat. K-POP lebt von Teamwork, und genau dieses Gefühl möchte ich auch im Kurs vermitteln.
Der Kurs richtet sich an Menschen, die Interesse an K-POP Dance haben und Lust haben, Choreografien zu lernen und sich in einer Gruppe zu bewegen. Man muss kein Profi sein, aber es hilft, wenn man sich grundsätzlich vorstellen kann, sich Choreos zu merken und in Formation zu tanzen.
Nach einem kurzen Warm up arbeiten wir Schritt für Schritt an verschiedenen Choreografien aus K-POP Songs. Dabei tanzen wir sowohl Choreos von Girlgroups als auch von Boygroups. Alle können alles tanzen, unabhängig vom Gender.
Neben den einzelnen Moves geht es auch viel um das gemeinsame Tanzen als Gruppe. Wir arbeiten an Synchronität, Formationen und daran, dass sich jede Person sicherer auf der Tanzfläche fühlt. Über den Kurs hinweg entwickeln wir gemeinsam eine Choreografie und arbeiten als Team auf eine kleine Abschlussperformance am Ende des Kurses hin.

Hello, my name is Memo, I am 22 years old and I will be offering a K-POP dance course at CAU in the summer semester of 2026. I have been dancing for about 8 years and have already gained stage experience through K-POP dance competitions, where I have occasionally placed on the winners’ podium, both on my own and with my dance group in my free time.
In this course we will learn choreography from the world of K-POP while working on expression, precision and synchronization. It is important to me that participants feel more comfortable in their own bodies, gain confidence while dancing and learn to express themselves through movement.
The course is not only about learning dance steps, but also about creating a space where people support each other, grow together and enjoy dancing as a group. K-POP is strongly connected to teamwork, and this is exactly the feeling I would like to bring into the course.
The course is intended for people who are interested in K-POP dance and who enjoy learning choreography and moving together as a group. You do not need to be a professional dancer, but it helps if you feel comfortable learning choreographies and dancing in formations.
After a short warm up we will learn different choreographies from K-POP songs step by step. We will dance both girl group and boy group choreographies, and everyone is welcome to dance everything regardless of gender.
Besides learning the individual moves, a big focus will also be on dancing together as a group. We will work on synchronization, formations and helping everyone feel more confident on the dance floor. Throughout the course we will develop a choreography together and work as a team towards a small final performance at the end of the course.
