Was ist Footy?
Australian Football ist der australische Nationalsport und macht richtig Spaß! Gespielt wird auf einem ovalen Feld mit einem eiförmigen Ball. Dynamisch und schnell ? ohne langes Aufgebaue. Der Ball wird gefaustet oder geschossen. Es wird gelaufen, gefangen und getackled. Ziel ist es, Tore zu schießen und so Punkte zu erzielen.
Jede und jeder ist bei unserem gemischten Training herzlich willkommen! Viele von uns sind noch absolute Anfänger und Anfängerinnen und die Übungen sind stets so gestaltet, dass ihr mit jedem Stand teilnehmen könnt. Ihr müsst nichts Besonderes mitbringen. Für Rasen geeignete Schuhe sind von Vorteil, idealerweise Fußballschuhe mit Gumminoppen.
Wir trainieren das ganze Jahr draußen auf dem Nordmarksportfeld. Regelmäßig finden auch soziale Events statt und es wird nach dem Training bei einem Getränk geschnackt. Kommt einfach vorbei und probiert es aus!

What is footy?
Australian football is Australia's national sport and is great fun! It´s played on an oval field with an egg-shaped ball. Dynamic and fast - without long breaks. The ball is handballed with the fist or kicked. There is running, catching and tackling involved. The aim is to score goals and score points.
Everyone is welcome to join our mixed training! Many of us are beginners as well and the exercises are always designed so that you can take part at any level. You don't need to bring anything special. Shoes suitable for grass are an advantage, ideally football boots with rubber studs.
We train outside all year round on the Nordmarksportfeld. We also regularly organise social events and chat over a drink after training. Just come along and give it a try!
